The Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) is launching The Outlook 2008-2015, the first national and regional analysis and forecast of Canada’s needs for skilled ICT workers. It will provide an understanding of the demand and supply gaps in our Information Technology and Communications (ICT) sector, to the year 2015, and identify a plan of action.
The Outlook 2008-2015 will provide information on:
The types of skills that will be in demand;
Overall employment levels by occupation;
The demographic characteristics of ICT workers;
Why under-employment is happening, and what can be done; and
Spikes in the regional structure of ICT employment.
