ในอเมริการางวัล TR35 นี้ถือว่าเป็น major award จัดโดย MIT แต่ไม่มีตังค์ให้ ปีนี้มีคนสิงคโปร์ได้คนหนึ่งเป็นครั้งแรกใน SEA แต่ในเอเซียน่าจะมีคนได้หลายคน ส่วนปี 2009 ยังไม่ประกาศ
