ในอเมริกาจะดูคุณภาพของงานวิจัยมากกว่าปริมาณเยอะๆ

จะให้ดูตัวอย่าง professor คนจีนคนหนึ่ง อายุยังไม่มาก

ที่น่าสนใจคือว่า เขามีประมาณ 15 journal publications ใน IEEE
แต่ได้ tenure (เป็นตำแหน่งถาวร ไม่โดนไล่ออก)  บางคนมี 50+ ไม่ได้ tenure ก็มี

รวมพลังกับ NSF CAREER Award (ใครได้รางวัลนี้ในอเมริกา เกือบจะ guarantee tenure)

เวลาสมัครเป็นอาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยในอเมริกา บางที่ให้ส่งได้แค่ 3 papers เอง  (มีเยอะๆไม่ได้แปลว่าดีกว่าเสมอไป) คนเราทำ 3 papers ยังไม่เข้าขั้นสักอัน คงไม่จำเป็นต้องเสียเวลาดูอันที่ 4

ผมจะให้ได้ดู research ของคนที่จบตรีวิศวะลาดกระบังที่ผลงานเข้าขั้น

เวลาจบตรีที่นี่ (วิศวะ CS หรือ IT) ไป แล้วไปต่อปริญญาเอกที่อเมริกา ดูคนข้างบนเป็นตัวอย่าง แล้วทำให้ได้อย่างงั้น  มีโอกาสได้งาน professor มหาวิทยาลัยดังๆ ที่อเมริกาแน่นอน (ถ้าไม่ติดสัญญาทุนอะไร)
